Check the hardware O rings and D rings

They will feel heavy and you will never see a "seam" where as the fake bags will almost always have a seam where the 2 ends of the metal meet together in the ring shape. Authentic Coach is a single molded unit, not a bent/twisted piece of metal shaped like an O or a D.
